Orange is a dose problem, not a mystery. It comes from too much product at once, sitting longest on the dry patches that take it up fastest: knuckles, elbows, knees. A fixed-strength lotion gives you one go at that. Drops do not.

There is a small amount of caramel colour in the drops, so treat them as tinted until they sink in. Two things help: you mix them into moisturiser rather than applying them neat, so the colour is well diluted, and a thin serum absorbs instead of sitting on top of your skin like a mousse. Rub in until nothing looks tinted, give it a few minutes, then dress or get into bed. Worth an extra minute on white or delicate fabrics.

The tanning actives are DHA and erythrulose. Alongside those: glycerin, aloe vera, raspberry seed oil, vitamin E, hydrolyzed silk and collagen, coenzyme Q10, and a standard preservative system.
